We are starting Middle Ages next year (January) and I am starting to price up and locate the books I require for Term 1.

The Vikings by Janeway is proving the hardest, although there are some 2nd hand copies available on Amazon the sellers do not ship to Australia.  The only new copy is listed as $600 Surprised.

So I was wondering if this book continues to be difficult to find is there an alternative or can we do without it?

Glad I started researching the booklist early.Smile

    Thankyou.

Thankyou for that. Good that there are plenty of other choices.

I had a hard time with that one too!  Finally got one from the public library who had to get it from another library, we are only 4 chapters behind in it right now.  Will have to play catch up now:)

I spent a disappointing afternoon searching our library catlogue and drew a blank on every single book on the list.  Old books do not seem so popular here.

Kcoard, I find that discouraging as well and buy most of my books as a result, though that may or may not work for you, sites like Main Lesson mentioned above are great resources for FREE online books. I haven’t read Viking Tales myself, but is on the AO list, so it is worth considering.
