they are both very different, but both very helpful to CM moms new and not. I was very familiar with CM when I watched the All-Day, but it was nice to be refreshed and I learned some new tips too.
The All-Day seminar is in three parts – the first part is an intro/overview of CM and her basic principles, the second part goes through each subject and discusses how to do that subject CM style and tips with that, the third part is the Laying Down the Rails seminar which talks about habits (this part has been invaluable to me). The Planning seminar starts with you thinking of the big picture of what you want to accomplish over the whole of your homeschooling, then helps you go backwards and break it down to years, then terms, then weeks, then daily schedules. I think they are both great, but if you are not as familiar with CM I would start with the All-day and then the Planning. Hope that helps!
