All About Reading/Spelling

    I am just curious if anyone knows… is All About Reading Level 1 typically for Grade 1?  Or does it go more like Pre-Reading for Pre-K, Level 1 for K, Level 2 for Grade 1, etc?  Also, I wonder when you would start All About Spelling and if that level would line up with whatever reading level you were currently on.  Thanks!  Just starting to look into this.  Does anyone here use this and love it?

    We are using pre-reading and level 1.  Pre-reading is pre-k in my opinion…or k for a late bloomer.  We love aar and are moving to level 2 next week.

    I was using AAR until last year.  My HS supplier told me that typcially Level 1 is suitable for a K’er (around age 5) and to just go at the pace of the child.  When you are about 3/4 of the way through AAR level 1 you can begin AAS level 1.
