ages for Christmas Carol?

    Hi!  I haven’t read A Christmas Carol in awhile.  Do you think it would be appropriate and hold the attention of  6 and 7 year old boys?  We are going to be seeing the play in Branson,MO in a few weeks and I was thinking of reading it to them.  What do you think?

    Never mind…..I forgot about the Bookfinder!  It says 4th-12th grade.  I might wait a few years to read it to them…..

    I’ll just tell them the story, I guess.  I just want them to have a general idea of the story before we go.

    I think it really depends on your boys. My 7 yr old is loving the book but my other boys would not have enjoyed it at this age.

    Thanks for the info!  I had already requested it at the library before posting this. So, I might just go ahead and get it and read through it real quick and see.  My 7 yo might do okay, but I’m not sure about my 6yo.  Thanks again!  Jennifer
