I accidentally used Aesop’s Fables for Children this year with my 1st grader as just an extra literature book.  Looking at next year’s stuff, I realized that it is used in the Joshua to Malachi History rotation.  Oh well!  Would you keep reading it and finish it this year, or stop for now and use it next year?

If I continue with it this year, what would be an alternate history book for next year?

    Thanks,

    Jenn

Jenn, I think it is used once a week throughout the second and third terms, a total of 23 fables. So if you have 23 fables left, it might be good to stop for now and save the rest for next year. If you have more than 23 left, you could keep reading and save just 23 for next year.

Specific fables are recommended, but you could easily use any 23 you choose.

Oh, okay.  I didn’t realize that it is only 23 used.  That is good to know.  Thanks so much for your reply Sonya 🙂  I think that I will keep reading and leave some for next year.  From now on, I need to check the other years!
