Reading Reflex is a good resource for remedial phonics. You don’t have to start at the beginning of the book.I use AAS letter tiles instead of the paper ones they provide.
I am intrigued by the idea of spelling copywork teaching phonics. I may copy the format of Spelling You See on my own. My dd balks at random words, but loves copywork.
