Advertising banner

    Is anyone else getting an advertising banner when they come to the forum page?  I added a new program, but this is the only page that it shows up on so not sure if it is just me.  Not real keen on some of what is up there.

    No, I don’t get anything but the Simply Charlotte Mason logo and pull-down menus across the top.  Perhaps it is something related to your browser?

    I don’t get any advertising banner.  Only what is supposed to be there.  I hope you get it figured out.  I hate those things!!

    Looks like it is Firefox as I don’t have that issue on Safari. Must have been an update I just did.  Frustrating

    I also have Firefox and have never had an advertising banner show up.  Maybe check your settings and see if there is something in there?

    I have been through them. I’ll wait until my sister gets home and call her.  She is my Tech support. 🙂

    We don’t run any advertising banners. You probably installed some sort of toolbar or plugin in your browser that is doing it. Or it could be something installed on your computer either intentionally or malware.

    The first thing to try would be going into the Firefox preferences and disabling all extensions to see if that helps.
