I just have to say that my ds is LOVING this book. He giggles at how silly Pooh is and giggles even more whe he figures out the silly plot of the chapter. Hope your kiddos are loving this book too!

My children love the Winnie-the Pooh books also. I read them when my girls were little. Then my son got to the age for them, and I decided to read them to everyone, not just him. My girls enjoyed them even more the second time around. One of my favorite read alouds.

Dd6 and dd3 just finished it as well. They loved it just like your children and have requested to read it again soon. Right now we are working on Mr. Popper’s Penguins which is delightul silliness as well.
I have to admit that The Complete Tales of Winnie-the-Pooh was a challenging read aloud with so many characters. Did anyone else feel this way? It certainly gave me a wonderful opportunity to practice reading aloud.

5heartsathome, yes! Sometimes, I would have to reread a portion because I read it aloud in the wrong voice!! 🙂

I am glad I am not the only one. 🙂 I forgot to (sheepishly) admit that we borrowed the audio book from our library on Overdrive for the second half of the book. The children actually enjoyed it more than the first half of the book. They listened along and looked at the pictures in the actual book.

We love Pooh! DS4.5 listens to the audio with full cast (including Judi Dench) ALL.THE.TIME! It’s his favorite.

Even my LO would Winnie-the Pooh book. It his one his best book and love to d ocoloring the characters.
