We adopted two of our children through foster care and are considering adopting again. A friend alerted us to All Blessings, but she did not have personal experience with the agency.
**if you scroll down right-hand bar, there is a link to children available through disruption; you have to register but it is free and just b/c many of the children’s pics are not allowed to shown unless there is a secure site**
**again, registration required with a valid email, but it is free and this site has children waiting all over the world incl. US and from disruptions**
We have adopted three waiting/special needs children from China through America World Adoption (AWAA.org) WE LOVE THIS AGENCY and are actually paperchasing for #6 (4th child from adoption) and are going with AWAA again. They do have a very solid Ethiopia program including waiting children. I do not have any personal experience with that program, but we love the agency. PM me if you want any more info. about AW or China’s WC program.
I don’t have any answers to your specific questions, but I will say that we adopted through http://www.whfc.org (Wide Horizons) and we had an excellent experience. They do offer clients to adopt from Ethiopia, but Haiti is not a country that they work with.
We adopted from Korea, in part because my MIL is from Korea. Our daughter came home 2 1/2 years ago.
I have not adopted through these people, but have a childhood friend who works with and has adopted three (in the process of her fourth) children through them (they have 3 biological children – what a fun growing family!). I am not sure what all countries, but I think many are Eastern European. You can look them up and if you are interested I can get you in touch with my friend. I also have other friends that support them – from what I know through my friends it is a wonderful organization. It is Reece’s Rainbow.
