O.K. Now for my next Organizer question. I think I already know the answer to part of it…..I’m wanting to add a special resource (poetry) and if I don’t have specific titles that I want to use and schedule out, then I would need to just add the title of the poem we read as we come to it each day? I kind of pick and choose based on my mood, right now. So, if we read one poem today and two the next, I just add those titles to the notes section when I complete the work that day, right?
Also, I can’t figure out how many divisions to add for that. If I want to do a particular poet for three or six weeks, and we normally read poetry every day, then would I add 15 or 30 divisions under a special resource titled William Blake poetry?
Which leads to one more question — if I choose the option to “skip this assignment”, does that show up in the reports section? I’m just wondering — I’m trying to plan ahead and I don’t think I’d want to see a bunch of skipped assignments in my final reports.
Thanks for all the help!
ETA: I accidentally clicked before I changed this topic to CM Organizer…. sorry!

That’s exactly how I do it, yep.

That sounds right.

I just tried this on my “sandbox account” (where I can test and try things) and the skipped assignments did not show up on the Summary Report or Detailed Report. Both types of reports listed only the assignments we did and just left out the skipped one.
FYI, We do have a video on scheduling special resources that may give you creative ideas to schedule things like picture study, nature study, poetry, sports, music, or even chores into the CM Organizer.
