Adam of the Road

    I’m planning to do Adam of the Road as a read aloud this summer and am not sure if I should read it just to my older children (8 and 9 year-old girls) or if I should also include my 6 year-old son and 5 year-old daughter.   I welcome any input from those of you that are familiar with the book.

    I read it aloud 4 yrs. ago, when my oldest was 7.  The others were 5, 3, and nearly 2.  They all enjoyed it.  Obviously, the younger 3 don’t remember it, but they all sat and listened to it.

    I’m looking forward to reading it aloud again this year, my girls are 11, 9,7,5.
