?? about using new SCM website

    How do you search for past forum topics?

    Will gravatar ever be linked to individual blogs or websites as was before?

    As far as I know, the Team is still working on fixing the search box. I personally hope that is on their resolution list because I really miss it, but then again, “Teaching Sue to be Patient” might be higher on their list, LOL!

    Search not working is a bit of a mystery at the moment. I’m working with the forum software developers on that one.

    We will be adding links to individual blogs again, but it may be in a slightly different form that is more intuitive.

    By the way, would anyone be interested in also showing links to things like their Twitter or Pinterest account? No promises, but I’d be interested in hearing what you all think.

    It helped me to search by going to Google or another search engine and typing in simply charlotte mason forum and my search word(s).  If I find one post on my subject matter, I can usually use the tags to find another related post.  Tags are smaller now and I have to look for them on the page now.

    We do appreciate your patience as we work on these things. We never get as much done this time of year with taking breaks to travel and enjoy holiday time with family and friends.

    Oh I’m so glad.  I was actually going to email the other day and ask if I’m just missing where the search box was.  I miss that feature so much and will look forward to the return of it.

    I’m really trying to get used to this new format – I just knew the old board so well and feel like I’m constantly fumbling to figure this new one out.  I suppose I’ll eventually figure it out, right?

    I am already amazed at how my brain & my fingers know exactly where to click as a routine when I first visit the site every morning to see what’s new.

    “Arf? Arf, arf, arf, arf.”  (That’s Yorkie for “See? You can teach an old dog new tricks.”)

    I have 2 questions. Are all the treads I saved in My Favorite gone forever?

    And will we be able to send personal messages again?

    I, too, need some of the information I had stored in my private messages and from my favorites. 🙁 I am so appreciative of the SCM hard work though. I promise to be patient. :)))
