A Sand County Almanac (for Nature Study?)

    Have any of you used this as part of your older children’s nature study?  I saw it recommended on a wildflower seed blog and thought it might be interesting.

    I have not used it yet. But I thought it looked like a good nature book and bought it at a thrift stores for 75 cents. Amazon has good reviews on it.

    My husband and I took turns reading it to each other a few years ago. I recall lovely descriptive writing based in the seasons. I think it would be a good fit.

    Thank you, both!  I’m going to add it to my “Mother Culture” list and to our list for highschool Nature Studies for our youngest two children.
