Today a dear Christian friend, closer to my family than some of our own relatives, went home to her Savior. She was 105. Ds9 got to see her less than a half hour before she died. She had worked for or been connected with my family since the day my father was born, almost 77 years. We have her picture holding my son when he was about a week old, when she was 96. He was the fifth generation of my family she had taken care of. She had lived in her own home until about three years ago. She had outlived two husbands, all of her brothers and sisters, and a niece she had raised as her own. Her presence was a blessing to all she knew. I don’t recall ever hearing a cross word from her lips. She will be missed by many, but I am trying to rejoice knowing that she is with her Lord.

BTW, ds is taking it fine so far.

    Just had to share that.

God bless her! She sounds like a wonderful friend. Her impact will be felt in so many ways for many, many years.

Her ‘welcome home’ party must’ve been a doozy! 🙂

Praying for you and your family as you walk through the days without her here on earth.  Celebrating her liberation from this world of sorrows and sin to live everlasting.

Her life was a wonderful testimony to the Lord! Hopefully many more generatioons will be blessed by her fruit! Thank you for sharing with us.  Hoping your ds will continue to handle it well!
