A praise- People are watching

Sometimes actions do speak louder than words. And… God loves to answer our prayers in such ways.

We are the only homeschoolers in our smallish church. However, just this week two families have told us that they are planning to pull their children and homeschool in the fall.  They all know we homeschool, but I have been very careful not to seem “preachy” about it.  I really have said nothing. But they know. 

The one mother told me today that she has watched our family over the past two years that we have been a part of this fellowship and she says that it has done much to convince her that homeschooling works. She says our family has been a testimony to homeschooling without us even knowing.

I was also asking God for some other homeschoolers so that my children don’t always feel like the odd ones out- although they are used to it after all of these year! And now, we will have two other families!! And, I have been asking God if I should restart the support group I once held monthly.  Between these two families and the several neighbors that are beginning to homeschool…well, I think He is answering me!

All this to say…hang in there. God does answer prayers and people are watching.  We are all the best advertisments for homeschooling that others will ever see.  No pressure!;)
