I’m looking for reviews of this book. I know it is fairly new. We are looking at making the change from AO to SCM middle ages.

Has anyone used it with older children as well? (My children are 13 and 10)

Also, I have Memoria Press famous men of the middle ages, could I use that one instead?

I’m using it with a 4th grader, 7th grader and 9th grader. It has been perfect for that age group. We’ve loved it this year!

We’re using it this year, too, although I am reading select chapters that coincide with our history work in co-op.  It’s been very enjoyable so far.  I think it’s perfect for 5th-8th, but all of my kids (3rd-10th) are listening in.

If you’re using our Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation & Epistles lesson plans, you will be missing some chapters that were added by Greenleaf in their edition of Famous Men of the Middle Ages. Those additional chapters are scheduled in our lesson plans.
