Has anyone used A Backyard Nature Drawing Guide by Douglas Farnhan, as recommended by Queens? It looks very promising. What ages have you used it with? Thanks ~ Heather

I would also like to know about this as well.  I am planning on getting this, mostly for my 8dd but would like to have some more feedback on it, just to be safe Wink.  I would have liked to just look through it for a bit first.

    Thanks for asking csmamma!

I was just able to find some samples online….http://www.queenhomeschool.com/productpages/naturestudies/ABYNDGsample.pdf

It does look good from this.

I bought it – it is a neat book but I was surprised how short it was for the price.  It would work best for a bit older kids – or kids with some drawing ability first.  Around 12 and older.

Dawn- How many pages is it?

    It is 67 pages.

Thanks, Dawn. That helps me make my decision.

I think I’ll stick with the “Draw 50….” Series by Lee  J. Ames. I can get these free at the library.
