7th grade la….what now?

    My son is finishing up 6th grade this year. We have done cle la program up until now. It is pretty rigorous. While I feel that he has learned so much from it, we are both ready to slow down a little with la. What program would you recommend for Jr high that would reinforce what he has already learned,add in a little writing and be more cm style?

    My 7th grade daughter is using Writers in Residence by Apologia and Learning Language Arts Through Literature, the green book. They are both light, yet thorough. She enjoys doing them.
