2nd grader not reading – start English & Grammar?

    My 7yo will be in 2nd grade this year.  With my oldest, I started English for the Thoughtful Child with her in 2nd.  But my 7yo isn’t reading yet.  Should I wait another year before starting English with her?  I know there is some writing, which she can only do letter by letter.  That makes me hesitate using it this year.  What do you think?

    I’d wait, too.  Charlotte didn’t start this until later.  My 3rd grade son is reading well and I’m still not starting this year.
