Coming mid-2025: Using Language Well, 2nd Edition! We’ve taken what you love about Using Language Well and Spelling Wisdom and made it even better. Now spelling, English points, and grammar lessons are all in one book!

Here’s what you can expect in the exciting new edition of this Charlotte Mason language arts series:

Spelling Wisdom lessons and Using Language Well lessons combined into a convenient single student book.
Updated to fully reflect the Charlotte Mason approach to spelling of transcription in Grade 3, then prepared dictation in Grades 4 and up.
Additional teacher guidance, with suggestions for leveling up or down each spelling lesson.
Quick-access guide for the student for studying and remembering word spellings.
For grades 3–8, each book in the new Using Language Well series will include lessons for one grade level. Space is provided in the student book for writing spelling lessons.
For grades 9–12, a new self-guided high school punctuation and sentence construction review book, designed to be completed weekly alongside lessons in The Art of Composition.
