So, it sounds like we’re up to 5 (including me).  I will try to arrive early and claim a table.  Maybe I’ll bring Laying Down the Rails or something and set it out, so you all can find me.  😉

Incase some of you can’t attend the get together Tuesday night, I thought I’d pass on a little get together I’m pulling together last minute Monday night.

There is a  Sally Clarkson Webinar this coming Monday night, April 28th from 8-10 pm. I’d like to invite you to join me Monday night to watch it at our home! It’ll be late as it’s happening based on Mountain time. If you’d like to join me, let me know, so I can plan on you. It would be nice to get to know some of you around town better!

Here’s also the specific page for registering with a more detailed outline of the webinar info: ttp://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e97tb79g5601f4ae&llr=4e7j7aqab

If you plan to come to my house to watch, I don’t think you need to pay or register, but it if you can’t come and want to watch at home then you’ll need to register soon, as it says they are limiting the number this time. The cost is $9.99.

The Clarkson’s used many CM methods in their home and this webinar is called Weaving a Love of Reading into the Fabric of Your Family. I think it will be good! I watched the first one in March and enjoyed it a lot!

Hope some of you can make it! Wear your comfy clothes and I’ll make some popcorn and smoothies!  Our address is 3000 Leyland View, Woodbury, MN 55125

JamochaJo,  Sorry I didn’t see your message before I left town.  We spent four days in a cabin in the WI woods with no cell phone or internet access.  It was beautiful!

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to come next Tuesday.  Maybe someone could collect email addresses so we can communicate upcoming events that way.  Or, start a closed Facebook group.  🙂  I know we shouldn’t post our emails on this forum.  Is it safe if we PM them to each other?

Does someone want to start a FB group?  I wouldn’t know who to add to start one.  I don’t think I’m friends with any of you on FB.  🙁  Otherwise, I’d be happy to do it.  🙂

I don’t mind creating a group if people are interested.  I would just post the name of the group  here and people would search for the group on FB (or follow a link if I post one) and request to join.  You don’t have to be friends with group members.  We would be able to post CM opportunities in the area like seminars or Shakespeare plays.  Anyone interested?

Hey Ladies, I already have a Facebook page created for our local Book discussion group.  I’d love to just add any of you whod’ liek to get our info and like to be able to communicate that way.   We don’t use it much yet, so it would be good to get some traffic going on ther by those of you who are interested.  Here is it: https://www.facebook.com/groups/316015741860114/  If the link doesn’t work It’s called For the Children’s Sake Book Discussion group.  We are mostly twin cities ladies and I would love to use this as a way for us all to connect.  Maybe when I add you you can all introduce yourselves and tell where you are from and who you are homeschooling and any particular needs you have!!!

Also ladies, I already have an e-mail list up and running with about 45 people from the twin cities as well as some WI folks who want to know about local events or our book discussions.  I would like to try and stream line my communications so I don’t have to post on a forum, two facebok pages and e-mail, so if you’d like to get updates about the Summer seminar we might plan or our Woodbury Discussion group, then please message me with your e-mail addresses and I will add you.  THanks!
