Would yall share how you use your timelines? How did you make them/buy them? Where do you have them displayed?
Thank you!
suzukimomParticipantHere is a blog post on ours… My kids love them!

lnosbornParticipantI would love suggestions on this as well. We want to do a broad wall timeline since I have young ones, but keep it simple and fun as well. I don’t want to buy anything. I like the idea of using index cards and a line with clothespins like charlottemasonhelp.com suggests, but want to have some kind of graphic/picture for coloring or cutting out as well… since my daughter likes to color/create maybe I can just have her color a picture on the back of the index card (kind of like narration of the event) and write the event on the front.
sherazParticipantI have a long timeline on my wall from Knowledge Quest, and the kids add their figures to their BOCs. We are using the Homeschool in the Woods figures a lovely friend gifted us.

http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/ – free clip art. They are pretty decent illustrations in various sizes.
