   Q1) I am attending a convention in Arlington, TX in less than 2 weeks. I'm hoping to buy everything I need to avoid shipping. Does SCM usually bring copies of everything or should I still expect to have to do an online order?

   I'm needing the guide and accompanying books for Module 1 and 2. I know SCM doesn't sell all of them but I want to get the ones they do have.

   Q2) This is sort of a general question as well for those of that have been to conventions before. Do most of the companies come very well stocked or should I plan to get what I know I want right away? I've seen the recommendation to sleep on decisions but I'm referring to things I've already planned for.

   SCM travels with good stock as do the majority of companies. Many who don't or who run out offer free shipping. Enjoy!

   Last year, going into convention season, Sonya wrote an article on the SCM blog to share her advice on attending conventions.

   We will have almost all of our materials at every convention we attend. The only items we don't bring are a few of our workshops on CD.

   I have found most of the companies to be well-stocked, however if I know what I want I usually try not to wait until the last hours. Many people need time to decide and the vendors are crowded in the end with people making purchases. I usually buy what I know I want in the beginning and then spend the rest of my time checking out the ones I am unsure of.
