I was under the impression that they are out of print and hard to get ahold of?
I have vol 1 on my kindle, but I really do have a much better time with real books so I can skim, skip around, bookmark, and take it with me. (The kindle is actually dh's so I'm not dragging it to the beach with me!) What is a reasonable price to pay for the one or all six of the series?
purchasing the original CM books?

I have been wondering this as well. I have seen several up for sale recently.

They are in print. They have pink covers. I forget what I paid for my set of 6, it's been a couple years. Hopefully others will be able to help you with that.

I got all volumes from amazon for reasonable prices. They were new, reprints not originals.

I believe this is the original series published by the Andreolas' publishing house.

To add to Sonya's link, that's a picture of the "box" they come in. The books themselves are pink. I didn't realize they showed the box cover rather than the book covers.

I just purchased the books from Abe Books...I had to order from 2 sellers to get the complete set, but it came out to $4/book including shipping! I've tried to read them online, but I have a hard time reading books on a screen.

I found them on http://www.half.com last winter. After shipping, I think I paid just under $30 for all six - $5/ea. Most of that was for shipping as the books were listed between $0.50 and $2.00 each. I much prefer reading "real" books so I understand!
