I know there were several of us starting Module 1 this January, so I wanted to see how it was going for everyone.
Mr. Popper's Penguins is a HUGE hit. It's great when my 3 year old wants to cuddle during the read alouds and offers narrations too (completely voluntary, of course!). It makes her sister want to tell me that much more! I am a little hesitant about the Old Testament. While I have been wanting to share our Creator with my kids, there's a lot of hard stuff in there. It's not the first time I've read the Bible, quite the contrary, it's just VERY different reading it as an adult versus reading it outloud to a 6 year old. Wow, how do you explain Cain and Abel or God flooding the Earth? I wasn't prepared for it, but my kids are actually doing fine and are really curious.
Anyway, I would love to hear how everyone else is doing!
