Anyone combine modules for 1,2 and possibly 3 for high schooler?

    I thought I saw this mentioned here…. Curious if it would be too much for a 9th grader to do all 3 modules.

    My dd is in the 9th grade and we are combining SCM modules 1 & 2 and I have added in corresponding TQ guides.

    I think you could do all three history, but may have to consider treating Bible as a seperate subject rather than try to do two lessons a day.  I would consider pairing down some of the reading depending on course loads in other subjects and if your child is an avid reader.  I am doing mods 1& 2 this year, but my boys are only in 3rd and 6th.

    If you want to go through all three, you might try BF Ancients guide as it goes through all three in one year and is designed that way.  You can add in any books that you might like to from SCM if you so desire – though if I remember correctly, many of the books are the same.
