This year being our 1st year of transitioning from public schooling to home learning; I was a bit lost to where to start with my 14 year old. There had been a big discrepency in his learning. But, after viewing the last lessons’ content of book 1 before ordering, I felt starting with Book 2 would have been a bit daunting for him. We started with a relunctant boy; but it is heart warming to watch his eyes being more awake and searching the text for the answer. This NEVER EVER happened before since Language Arts was always faced with: ‘it’s boring and what is the point’ etc So, with this mentality approach; I am glad the lessons are peppered with poetry; Bible verses; so my son gets an overall introduction and surrounding him with words of wisdom. Thank you for your good work in putting this together.
