    This site is AMAZING!!!!!!

    It DOES have LOTS of content, but is ENTIRELY secular, so many won’t just want to let their kids watch without previewing first.

    I would recommend previewing the art lessons–we’ve done a few and not had problems.  But really, differential equations and linear algebra and factoring binomials ought to be about the same, secular or Christian.  Wink  This is a tremendous resource with up to college level content and FREE.  We use it heavily.

    My kids also use Khanacademy at times for math.  (not our only math program – but they go through periods of wanting to “play” it.)  My son likes to try to earn the badges.

    I personally didn’t like the couple of videos I watched for math – just not the way I would go about teaching those concepts…   But every now and then, I go on there too to review.  I started with ADD1 and worked from there…

    Well, my post did certainly come across as the grinch!  Didn’t intend that, just had a minute to post and didn’t want anyone to just start watching videos with their kids without realizing that it’s not a Christian, homeschool type website that we are often used to.  So I suppose that not all of their math videos will have word problems based on miniskirts, dancing, or eating sugary treats.  Tongue out

    You mean we won’t see any word problems like, if Lucy’s skirt is 8″ above her knees and Lily’s skirt is 2″ shorter than Lucy’s, how much taller does Lily have to be in order to be modestly dressed?

    I confess, my kids think I’m the biggest nerd….all I ever talk about is school, school, school, and books, books, books. They say, “Mom, you are all about school too much.”

    Yes, these posts had me LOL, too.
