WoodworkingNote: You do not need to have all of the power tools. They are demonstrated throughout the lessons, but alternate hand techniques are also given.

Power Tools : Table saw with miter gauge, Miter saw, Scroll saw, Router with 1⁄8″ radius round over bit and 45° chamfer Drill press with sanding drum and various bits, Power sander/disc sander.  Hand Tools:  Handheld drill with various bit, Hammer, Screwdrivers, Pliers, Coping saw, Hand saw, Hand plane.

Could anyone tell us what power tools would be absolutely necessary, please?  Also, we would be using this with 4 (husband & 3 teenagers)  What items would it be helpful to have more than one of?  My husband wants to learn along with the boys.

    Thanks!

All of the projects can be done completely with hand tools. If you want to save some time on cutting the pieces, the table saw would probably help the most with that.
