I was just wondering what science curriculm you use, like, and why.

    I have a 10yr old, 8yr. old and a 5 yr. old daughter.

We have done a basic Animal Science, Nature Study Science. I would like to go more indepth but I am not sure what route to go.

I appriciate any and all comments Thanks in advance! 🙂

I have kids basically the same age (10, 7, 4 and 2).  We started 106 days of creation when my son was starting 2nd grade (he’s now about to start 5th).  Believe it or not, we’re still doing it, because I’ve added a lot of stuff to it as we went along and I think it’s great for using over the younger ages.  For my older son, we add in the Considering God’s creation things they recommend, and I add in some independant reading assignments.  We add a lot of Bill Nye the Science Guy videos  ( I pair it up with what the topic is, like right now were studying 5 senses, so we watched Bill Nye Eyeballs and Bill Nye The nose. – I can get you or anyone the list of how they match up if anyone is interested – you can find them all free over on Gamequarium.com on the video section) and a few magic school bus and moody science.  After this, we plan to you Ann Voskamp’s A Child’s Geography, which is actually science.  (Earth science – plate tectonics, atmostphere, oceans etc).
