My kids have not been introduced to any formal grammar instruction. I knew that I could simply wait until they were older. I read (from a non CM source) that I could teach my high schooler from Abeka’s Grammar and Composition Book 3 & 4 and they will receive all the grammar they need. However, when I looked through the workbook I realized it is definitely not CM style. Every student assignment is void of proper punctuation and displays incorrect spelling and grammar, which the student is supposed to correct. CM would not let students see incorrect spelling/grammar. I’ve noticed that many other Grammar workbooks are set up the same way! It’s like an epidemic! Is there a CM style Grammar book out there?  I really don’t need some long drawn-out Grammar program that stretches over K-12 years! Perhaps one year of instruction would be sufficient. Or is there a way to teach Grammar in a CM style using the Spelling Wisdom books?

    Thanks for feedback!
