    I am new to SCM. I have a 9 and 6 year old. I’m planning to buy the lesson plans for Modern ages and enrichment studies 1. What SCM resources are good to get with those? I’d rather get them all at once to save on shipping. Thank you!

    If you download the free samples for Modern Times & Epistles, Revelation and for Enrichment Studies, Volume 1, you will find a Complete Year’s Resource list and a Suggestions for Where to Find the Books list. For the history lesson plans, you will need all of the books listed under Family plus the books listed under your children’s grade levels. For the Enrichment Studies, you will need all the materials listed plus the group of Family Read Aloud Books that are appropriate for your children’s ages, in your case that would be the Young Group.

    The Book of Centuries listed in the resources needed list can be your choice of the free Basic Book of Centuries or the My Book of Centuries, available for purchase. With younger children, we recommend that you keep a Book of Centuries as a family, giving each child their own Book of Centuries around 7th grade.
