Visual Cues for daily completion?

OK, so I am making a lot of progress in getting my CM Organizer setup for the upcoming school year. I have another question – of course! Wink

In playing around with the Daily Plan tab and watching what happens when an assignment is marked complete, I noticed that as soon as you mark something as finished for that day, it automatically jumps up above in the list of completed assignments and puts the next assignment in there. Instantly. I can see that my boys are going to have a hard time seeing which of today’s assignments they have completed and which remain to be worked on. It’s not visually easy and clear to see that – not such that they can SCAN quickly and easily.

Is there  a better way to view this, or something I am missing? Is there a bigger visual cue that they are finished with each assignment for the day?

We like to “close” the resource when we’ve finished the assignment for the day. Once we hit Finished, we click on the resource title and that makes the checkbox and assignments disappear. So for my youngest, for example, we do two sessions of school work, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. After we finish our morning work, I check off those assignments and “close” those resources. Then I can see at a glance what is left to be done in the afternoon.

Ahh!! Thank you! CLOSE the assignments to make it easier at a glance to see what is left! Thank you! That is exactly what I was missing! Since I don’t have any assignments showing in the daily plan to play with right now (we haven’t started our school year yet), it has been hard to figure some of this out!

Also, I have noticed that the Organizer web site seems a bit laggy lately. Is this normal? It has been like this both at work and at home the past several days. Does it get slower the more resources I add?

Guess this is question for Doug!
