<p style=”text-align: center;”>I have a daughter, 13, usingbook 2 of Writing Tales which covers grammar gently. My son is 15 and hasn’t done a lot of grammar and has really retained the things he has covered</p>
So my question is would it be appropriate to start them on level 2 or are the exercises too ‘babyish’ for that age? Would I be better off finding something else and if so any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi Bek,

Did you see our placement guide download for Using Language Well?  You will find it approximately 2/3 of the way down this page: https://simplycharlottemason.com/store/using-language-well/

It will help you determine where each of your children best place.  Please keep in mind that ultimately it would be ideal for students to get through Book 3 by graduation.  When paired with Spelling Wisdom, this will help give them a solid grasp on both spelling, grammar, and English usage.
