The Scottish Chiefs is in my dd’s literature package for BF’s medieval study guide.   I know it has great reviews and it is something that should be read, but….I think this will be a difficult read for her.  I flipped through the first few pages and thought it might be more college level reading, she’s 14.  I know true CM followers do not want  dumbed down versions 😉  but I think we will need one in place of this very long novel.  Or does anyone know of a book just as good that will take the place of this one.  I will still read through it since we have about a month before she starts it.  But I was wanting some suggestions in case it doesn’t work.

    Thanks,

    Paula

I honestly have no answer for you. But if it were me I would look and see what selection the intermediate guide has scheduled and maybe replace it with that. Ot maybe do it as a read aloud. I bet if you contacted Beautiful Feet they would have suggestions.
