Teach Them Dilligently!

    Y’all, we have homeschooled for 8 years and for the first time ever my husband is interested in going to a homeschool conference. The Teach them Dilligently conference in Texas will be in Waco….about 3 ours from us. And Sonya is supposed to be there! I’m so excited!!!! (I should add that the reason he won’t go to a conference is that when we were in our youth, both of our families were involved with a homeschool cult and a we had a yearly conference. He has just never thought he could stomach it until now.)

    That’s a wonderful conference. My husband and I went together a few years ago. He really, really enjoyed it and he is not Mr. Super-involved Homeschool Dad. He has brought it up repeatedly since then, saying that we should go again. We haven’t made it happen yet but I hope we will sometime. Have a great trip!
