Summer Reading Idea’s

Ok, so I have 5 boys 9, 8, 6, 4 & almost 2. We have used the Literature list here at CM for all the books through 2nd grade. And to be totally honest have LOVED all but 1. We will be listening to the Naria series on tape and have stated and are loving it. Actually when we got home today they wanted to sit in the car and finish listening some more 🙂

So my question is besides going on to the 3rd grade book list does anyone have ideas (come on parents I know you do)? My boys (and me) really liked as I said all but Tales of Winnie the Pooh (just couldn’t get into it and reading it was a bore, sorry)otherwise we’ve read/listened to all the others and are just looking for some more help.

any suggestions would be great, I’m new to all this reading but we are loving it. So names and authors would be great.
