I am looking for a Spanish language program that would be appropriate for preschool age kids. There seem to be many programs out there ranging from very expensive to free. Any suggestions for programs you like and use?

Learnables would certainly be a good option for you. You just turn on the tape to listen to a native speaker…and sit down and help the kids point to the next picture. No reading or knowledge required. I slow it way down at this age and do only a page or so at a time…probably less at first. Then I’ll review the new words with them often and repeat the lesson as much as needed before going on.

Maybe someone else will comment on the one endorsed by SCM. It sounds very good too…I am considering getting it to add to my collection.

Georgia Public Broadcasting did a video series called SALSA Spanish.  42 episodes all based on children’s stories.  FREE! online.

I second Salsa. My dd 6 loved it and learned many words. Also Little Pim is good for that age. You can buy on DVD or get on Amazon Prime streaming. We also liked playing the music CD, En mi Casa by Singalingo.
