I am wondering if any of you have a favorite holiday hymn album I could buy on iTunes? I want clarity in words, music that doesnt over power the songs and not redone to be super modern, a little updating is fine but not a complete redo of instruments and making it “hip.” I was going to buy a couple on iTunes to go with our hymn study and realized at $.99 a piece I could likely get a good album with many of the included hymns and Christmas hymns included for maybe $10.  My kiddos aren’t doing as well with hymn study when I am cluelessly singing it to them since I haven’t heard of many but the Christmas ones.

    I appreciate any suggestions 🙂

This isn’t on iTunes, but have you seen Christmas Carols for a Kid’s Heart?

Oh, we LOVE the “…For a Kid’s Heart” albums!  We have 3 of them, I think. The music is SO well done. The words are clear. The children and the adults singing do a great job.

The books themselves are nice, too. A short devo, a little bit about the history of the song, and usually the music (as it would be printed in a hymnal) are in the books we own.
