I’d love to hear your favorite missionary or people of faith biographies? My brain is blank right now and the only one I can come up with is The Hiding Place. I’m trying to put together a list for the people in my church…

YWAM has a bunch of biographies that my kids and I like. I just asked my kids to name their favorites and these are their quick rundown of favorites.

    Louis Zamperanni

    Elizabeth Elliot

    Corri Ten-boon

    George Mueller

    J.A. Paton

There is also another series “Trailblazer” series that has quite a few missionary stories that we enjoy.

(Pardon misspelled names, I am on my phone with out time to confirm spellings)

My children and I were challenged not only by a few of the books written above but also Gladys Aylward: The Little Woman.

We like Trial and Triumph and For Those Who Dare. They are both brief stories of multiple faithful followers, but they often spark an interest to learn more. And they are perfect for a breakfast or lunchtime read.

We utilize some of the History Lives Series in our history guides.
