Spelling Wisdom(for transcription) and Print to Cursive question

If you are having your 3rd grader do both of these in the same year, how often do you schedule each?
I’m planning Spelling Wisdom Wed & Fri and Print To Cursive Mon, Tue, & Thurs. I don’t like to schedule copywork and dictation on the same day.
We do copywork daily. On Monday, the copywork will be the passage from Spelling Wisdom. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday she will do copywork from other sources (about 3 handwritten lines each day is what I expect), plus have a couple of minutes to study the passage from Spelling Wisdom, and then on Friday I’ll dictate the passage.
Do any of you plan to use SW for transcription? That is how we plan to use it for our yr 3 child. Just curious what other are doing.
That is my plan, but I’m still not sure I get exactly how to teach it.
My DS is still copying words letter-by-letter, so I think this will help him copy passages a bit quicker. Yes, we are planning to use it for transcription and like Holly I’m not sure I understand exactly how to teach it. 😉
