My daughter will be a senior this year and is going to cosmetology after high school. She does not want to do pre calculus. What are some other options for her to do? Is Dave Ramsey’s student curriculum enough for a math credit?

I would do some type of consumer math or personal finance for her senior year (my senior son is doing the same). I’m not familiar with Dave Ramsey’s materials but I’m pretty sure people use his stuff for high school credit. There are also things like MUS Stewardship and consumer math courses from Abeka or BJU.

Math U See Stewardship. It is more important than Algebra in our home. Way more important. Few will use Algebra. Everyone will use what is in Stewardship.

My math phobic daughter will be doing Stewardship this year, which I’m pretty sure is going to be her Senior Year.  It covers things like tithing, credit cards, taxes, writing checks, calculating with-holdings on paychecks, etc.
