Second generation homeschoolers

I saw a couple of wonderful things recently. One was a science project at a fair. A seven year old is now raising chickens and, alongside the chicken, was a notebook of what he has learned. Next to his book was his Dad’s (also homeschooled-as was the mom) notebook that he had made when he was in second grade! It was very sweet.

I was also introduced to a young man graduating from high school. His mother was also homeschooled all the way through.

I am encouraged by these second generation homeschoolers. It encourages me to keep pressing on and I hope it does you, too!
