Hi!  I have been looking at the samples of the new math series, and I am wondering if the concepts of time and measurement are included?

Time and measurement are not formally taught in Book 1 or Book 2, though the student will solve problems that are about those topics. For example, Joey read his book for one hour on Monday and one hour on Tuesday. How many hours did Joey read altogether?

Time and measurement in US Standards measurements (ounces, pounds) will be formally taught in Book 3 of the series. The student will learn how to read an analog clock; how to measure inches, feet, and yards; and how to measure ounces, pounds, cups, pints, and quarts. The student will work problems that help him understand the relationship between inches, feet, and yards; cups, pints, and quarts; and ounces and pounds. Book 4 will introduce metric measurements and have more advanced work in US Standards.

I wanted to thank you for your response but for some reason the other day, I couldn’t get my message to show up.

Thank you!  You answered exactly what I needed to know.
