SCM Material Sharing Question

I own a hard copy of Genesis through Deut. that I let a non-CM method homeschooling friend borrow to use with her daughter because what she was using was not working. She loved it and so did her kids. Today she returned it to me. She asked if I had Joshua through Malachi to borrow. I did not purchase the hard copy of that one, I purchased the e-book. So, I cannot share that with her, correct? It would make sense to me that that would not be legal considering she could share it, then that person could share it, etc. I told her to get online and purchase it directly from SCM. Am I correct in what I told her?
