  • I am new to SCM. When viewing the Science curriculum suggested for grade 7 I cannot find the biographies listed in the comments section. It says “Scientists’ biographies are included in the History Modules in their proper time periods.”

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I CANNOT FIND IT.

    Hi,

Go to the curriculum guide and click on History. Then click on one of the modules ‘details.’ I just browsed through and I think that the module which includes the rennaissance (spelling?) has the most scientist’s bios. Sonya also typed up a list of Sower Series bios (not all scientists, but quite a few)by time period which you can see in the post below that is titled “Selections for all ages.” There are other biographies to be had, of course; these were just some suggestions.

    Blessings,

    Cindy

    Hi, Sharla –

Ditto what Cindy said 🙂 There are so many scientists and bios available, that I didn’t try to specify exact ones. But several are listed in the regular History book suggestions of the curriculum guide. You can also find other suggestions in the CM Bookfinder.
