    Hi everyone,

Mary (my 14 year old) needs to be doing more for science than just nature studies. But I’m not sure what program would be both inexpensive and simple to follow. Mary struggles a lot with math and I’m told that Apologia has a lot of math in it. Any advice? I am going to be in the same boat with Caleb (12). Although his struggle is with reading, not math so much. Thank you for your help. God bless everyone and Happy New  Year. 🙂

    Malissa,

I’ve not used it nor seen it in person, but Queen Homeschool supply really supports the use of Real Science 4 Kids.  It might work for you – especially if you are not intent on doing really hard, high level stuff.  Might be worth a look.

    Blessings,

    Amy

Looked at Real Science. Good program. But I was looking around this site and saw that Sonya has a list of living science books and I am thinking that, that might be an option for science as well, at least until the math and reading skills improve. I am going to do the recommended schedule for the 2 younger ones, who will be 3rd and 6th grade. 🙂 Talk to you soon!
