  • Hi ladies,

I hope you all are doing well! My two oldest, one will be 9th grade, the other 8th, have not done much science. I had thought about doing BF study of Science since it has the biographies and a timeline and then just have them go into Biology and Chemistry. My 9th grader wants to be a missionary nurse soo…Science and Math are important. I had someone recommend just skipping General and Physical and go into Biology?

    What do you think?

    Blessings to you all!

    Hi Kim,

I had a ninth grader that wanted to do biology. I emailed Dr. Wile and he said that the only reason Physical was taught first was because it was less difficult but that a student that was motivated could go straight into biology. My daughter went ahead and did biology and it turned out fine (she had also skimmed through the general but never really finished it).

    Blessings,

    Cindy
