    Good morning, lovely ladies,

I’m curious if anyone has used the Foundations in Romans study alongside their 5th or 6th graders? My eldest will be 12 in the fall and in real life, 6th grade, but we have her in 5th since our kids start “school” later. I’d love to sit with her for an inductive Bible study like this, not simply hand it off to her, so that she can learn these study tools with me. I am really impressed with what I see of the Romans study, but I’m wondering if it is appropriate for her age/ability?

I’m using the Romans study with my 13 yr. old. It’s pretty meaty. We aren’t doing it as written. We are just going through it orally and skipping the outlining and more advanced work. We are doing it together now. I plan on having her do it as written, independently in high school.

I don’t think I would use it with a 5th or 6th grader. My daughter wouldn’t have been ready for it at that age. We did the Hebrews study last year and really enjoyed that one. The Proverbs study looks really good to me as well.
