Reviewing memory work

I know many families study new hymns, poems, Shakespeare passages, etc. in addition to bible verses each term. Does your family review these things systematically or do you just work on it that term and that’s all? And does your family do all the memory work together or is it more individual? I’m interested in hearing what works for your family. 🙂 Thanks!
